UMUC is dedicated to supporting professional development for all global faculty. The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) is pleased to offer the opportunity for UMUC faculty to expand and learn new technical skills on their own, at their own pace, and online. SkillSoft, an e-Learning company with clients worldwide, will partner with us to provide such training. SkillSoft offers 2,180 technical and business skills topics with simulations, references, live mentors, and other resources.
- Faculty Forum Discussion Series
The UMUC Faculty Forum Discussions are delivered online via WebTycho. The discussions are free and open to all UMUC faculty members.
- Faculty Development Workshops
CTL is pleased to offer a wide selection of workshops for UMUC faculty throughout the year.
- Teaching with WebTycho Sessions
The Teaching with WebTycho workshop is an intensive five-week training session designed to develop your expertise with teaching in the online environment. This course is a requirement for teaching online at UMUC.
