WS_FTP LE is a Windows-based File Transfer Protocol (FTP) client that allows users to utilize the capabilities of FTP without having to know all the details of the protocol itself. In other words, it allows you to move files between your floppy disk or hard drive to your Polaris account using a windows interface.

IPSWITCH has resigned WS-FTP LE (free for education use) and have replaced it with WS_FTP Home Edition for which they charge a fee, however, you can download a copy of WS_FTP LE from OldVersion.com. As with all content you download from the Internet it's important that you run a virus scan on the document before you install it.

If you do not currently have the WS_FTP LE installed on your machine, and you do not want to download it from Oldversion.com, there are other free alternatives.

If you currently have WS_FTP LE, these instructions will help you learn how to use the software.
