I am a Collegiate Professor with the University of Maryland University College in Europe and have lived in Heidelberg, Germany, since March 2003. I teach undergraduate psychology and graduate counseling courses in Germany and, occasionally, Belgium. My educational background includes a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Hahnemann University and a Master's in Public Policy from the University of Chicago. I specialized in the assessment and treatment of emotional, learning, and behavioral problems in children and adolescents. I have conducted research in the field of child welfare with a particular focus on the educational needs of youth living in foster care.
