Linda joined the Center for Support of Instruction in September 2006. She understands the needs of nontraditional working students from both first-hand experience and in her previous role as an academic advisor at UMUC. She started her college career, pursuing her AA degree, as a single mom of three in 1997 and received her Master’s in instructional design from UMBC in 2001. Along with her academic advising experience, Linda brings her expertise in the areas of quality customer service, training, technical writing, instructional design, and consulting to CSI. Linda is also a UMUC adjunct for SUS and a CTL (Center for Teaching and Learning) instructor. She enjoys working with CSI to help the UMUC community and is grateful that "there's so much to learn and do with the variety of projects CSI handles."
In her spare time, Linda enjoys reading, yoga, mountain biking, zydeco and swing dancing, and traveling to California and Philadelphia to visit her children and grandchildren.
